The study adopted a survey research design. The population comprised 653 employees of the ministry, from which a sample size of 156 respondents was determined using Taro Yamane's formula. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire administered through Google Forms and analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson Product Moment Correlation) with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Out of 156 questionnaires distributed, 148 (94.9%) were retrieved and used for analysis. The results showed statistically significant positive relationships between job satisfaction and communication (r = 0.742, p < 0.05), organizational culture and shared values (r = 0.706, p < 0.05), trust and organizational justice (r = 0.688, p < 0.05), employee engagement (r = 0.721, p < 0.05), and work environment (r = 0.758, p < 0.05). The study concludes that employer–employee relationship is a critical determinant of job satisfaction in the ministry and recommends that management strengthen communication channels, promote a positive organizational culture, ensure fairness and transparency in administrative decisions, and involve employees actively in decision-making.
